* Place screen cleaning - We test any cleaning solution that you would like to use in a small test area of tissue, out of sight, if possible, to ensure that the fabric will not fade, bleed, or become discolored . Applying stain guard is never a bad idea, as most bar stools will be used when liquids are present!
* Clean Leather Seats - Leather is naturally somewhat waterproof, but any spills should be removed quickly to avoid stains. Water using any chemical cleaner (except those intended specifically for the care of leather) can damage or discolor leather, a mild soap and warm is ideal. As with the screen, if you want to use chemicals for cleaning, test a small area first.
* Wood Cleaning - Using chemicals or abrasives is not recommended for wood finishes. Instead, the solutions of warm water and mild soap or cleaning supplies specifically for finishing wood furniture, should be used.
* Use Outdoor - Due to moisture and the elements, with wooden seats, fabric or leather components are not intended for outdoor use, unless specified in the description of the bank (such as feces in our garden collection Banks Bar). It is generally a good idea to keep leather and fabric out of the sunlight to avoid fading.
* Security - Banks are wonderful to sit, but you should never get on them. This weight may be too much for the bank, and is easy to lose balance on a stool!
